It is just question of weather we are curious enough to travel down it. I too am finding many new paths and feeling more at home than ever. Now that photo/collage is so beautiful, I literally have tears in my eyes. So beautiful, tender, true. Heartbreaking in every way. Our lilies of the valley have formed a huge green mat around a new five-foot aronia tree. We should have the little white flowers very soon. This season, I am doing my first "swamp plantings." The bed that we have labelled a "swale"-- at the very lower edge where garden meets wetlands -- has "settled" and much of it is now wet soil. Swamp roses now grace the path of rocks between the three lines for grapes to grow. Literally! I pulled away rocks to create a 15" basin of wet soil for them, and so far they are…
