My first thought (maybe you, too?) was of the little Y-shaped “decision-time“ twig you gave me so many years ago. The scene quickly morphed into the landscape map I used last week to get to U Maine Orono from the interstate. The vole track is a perfect duplicate. Almost a photo of students (in pairs) crossing the road from the left into the mouth of the Y for pizza.
