days are bookended with wide swings
temperatures rising then quickly falling
sending thunderclaps of sound traveling
across the length of the lake as icy
tectonic plates expand and then contract
shifting and singing low whale-like songs
as they float on the cold dark water
For just a second, I thought I was in Google Earth!! Up close enough to see the interstate. . .
