You know, we have had so much wind that there are almost no leaves floating in the yard. Apparently we are going to -5 F tonight, and so absolutely every surface will be perilous and it will be difficult to know what is water and what is ice. On top of the pandemic, all of the yard has become laced with fear And questions about death. Will I make it down the stairs? Are they iced or wet? How deep is the snow? Has it fallen on ice? Uh, where ARE the stairs? Where are test kits available? Where can I actually go?
