I don't have any horseradish! My dad used to have a big patch that was hotter than hot. Unfortunately, the plants seem to vanished without his care. I too love the buttercups and just can't bring myself to mow them so they are taking over a good piece of the lawn. I love your description of your comfrey! Especially winding their way under the magnolia tree! Be well!

Yay!!!! My comfrey plants are doing the same thing. I have some out back in the dump area behind the official garden, and then quite a few transplants that I put under the magnolia tree on the low curving path to the garden along the dirt road. They are thriving. I had NO idea when I planted them that they would take over the yard given even a running chance, and they began to do just that. So did the beautiful horseradish plants. Do you have any of those? So the two of them have that side street garden pretty much to themselves along with other wilds (including healthy Johnny Jump Ups, buttercups (scourge of beauty) that are just so…
