a cold north wind skates across
the lake waltzing with falling snow
creating dizzying works of art
as the sun-warmed ice begins to send
songs of an unseen bullroarer out beneath
the feet of foxes finding frozen shortcuts
Sounds of Lakes in Winter, echo what the grey sky may say on Sundays.
Peace and quorum.
Bethe and Bruce, you both inspired me to revise this poem along with the deep resonating sounds that I heard rising up from the lake.
I'm in Bullroarer State of Mind....ooohhh
This is possibly the most important image for me among all you have sent. I see shapes of bullroarers in the ice, created by wind stretching a circle. Just yesterday, someone sent me a somewhat similar picture and claimed it was an interdimensional transmission of bullroarers. It looked too familiar to me, and I could not keep an open mind. . .but couldn’t figure out why. Here your photo comes today!
