March 6 - 10

joy is found in a squawking vee

flying noisily overhead and the welcome

sight of bobbing flocks of ring-necked

ducks not seen since the fall

U Crane. I can’t stop thinking about the animals.

Such a tragedy on so many levels. As I enjoy the natural migrations occurring here in our little slice of the world, I can't help think of all the beings engaging in an unwelcome migration born out of the necessity to try and survive another day.

Positive thought meditation is what keeps me afloat. I keep thinking that it is time for worldwide bull roarers!

I think borders must be infiltrating every aspect of my being. The ring necked duck looks to me as if it’s anticipating a crossing. . .or maybe not.

March is the designated receiver of all the ills of the winter, watching its icy memories taken by the spirits of nature
